Help, and a person to ask
Short guides for the things people actually get stuck on, and a form that reaches a human the same day. No ticket numbers, no phone tree.

Guides
Each one is about two minutes. They are written the way somebody would actually explain it to you, including the part that trips everybody up.
Calling
- Why Call works on your phone but not always on your computer3 minThe Call button hands the number to whatever on your device answers phone calls. On a phone that is the dialer. On a computer it depends what you have installed, and here is the full matrix.
- How Chumley decides a call actually happened4 minTap Call and the call logs itself, most of the time. Here is what it can and cannot see, why it sometimes asks you, and why it would rather ask than guess.
Getting started
- Add your first lead and move it across the board2 minThe ninety second version of using Chumley: add a deal, give it a next step, and drag it to the next column when it moves.
- Import your leads from a spreadsheet2 minBring an existing list into Chumley in about two minutes, including the one file format thing that trips people up.
- A tour of the screens: dashboard, pipeline and the rest4 minWhat every part of the dashboard and the pipeline board is for, numbered on the actual screens, so nothing on either page is a mystery.
Day to day
- Rename, reorder and delete your pipeline columns3 minMake the board match how you actually sell. Rename a column in two clicks, drag them into your order, and delete one without losing the deals in it.
- Saved messages for the texts you send every week3 minWrite your follow-up once, then send it in two taps with their name filled in. What the placeholder does, and the one thing that makes it read wrong.
- Contacts and the pipeline are not the same list3 minWhy Chumley keeps everyone you know separate from the deals you are working, how to move somebody between the two, and the button you should be careful with.
Leads from your website
- Get an email the moment a lead comes in3 minChumley emails you when somebody fills in your website form, with their number and a link straight to the deal. Here is what it sends, who gets it, and how to switch it off.
- Put the lead form on your website2 minPaste one line of code and leads from your website land on your board automatically, with an email to tell you they arrived.
Ask us something
This goes to an inbox a person reads. If something is broken, the more you tell us the faster it gets fixed, so say what you did and what happened instead.
Other ways to reach us
info@sumolab.co. The form above lands in the same place, so use whichever you prefer.
Billing and refunds
Payments are handled by Paddle as merchant of record. Our refund policy covers what happens and how long it takes. Write to us first either way, we would rather sort it out directly.
Cancelling
You can cancel yourself in Settings, then Billing. Nobody has to talk you out of it and there is no retention call.
